Placing confidence in the company’s competence and growth potential, Citigroup Property Investors (CPI) picked up an equity stake of 5.89% in BPTP Limited by investing Rs. 322.50 cr. (USD 80 million) in 2007. This is the single largest real estate investment by CPI in Asia.
Merrill Lynch invested Rs. 1120 million (USD 27 million) in a joint venture with a group company of BPTP to develop an IT project in Gurgaon. The project named “I Park” is located on the Delhi – Jaipur Highway (NH-8) in Phase IV of Udyog Vihar.
